Hey, it's me. Just letting you know that I'm heading out to Australia now, so you won't hear from me for a while.

[A little before noon, there is a soft rapping on Lia's door, followed by a deep, calm voice.]

[If she's in, she will find a tall man with a goatee and thick glasses standing outside. He is Toki's current personal guard, and here to facilitate this potential social interaction. Toki stands further back from the doorway, wearing a harness backpack with an attached leash, which the guard holds firmly.]

[ Sometime in the evening, at a funny sort of time for any visitors, there's a knock knock at Lia's door. ]

[Becky's already awake and poking her way through some of the gifts she's started receiving for the holidays, setting aside the boxes of cookies and macarons, and reading the card that came with one of those boxes, before turning her attention to the little envelope that only indicates that it's for her without there being anything telling who it was from.

She opens it as carefully as she can, on the off chance that whatever is inside could be damaged if she opens it too quickly, then stops herself rather abruptly when she sees what it is, before pulling it out and turning it over in her hands a few times as if making sure it's actually there.]

[Lia, if you're not already awake yourself, that bitty f-bomb's probably gonna do the trick.]

[Phone call, Lia. Whoever it is isn't yet in your contacts, but it's not a private number. It also doesn't look like any of the numbers that are commonly spoofed for automated spam calls or anything, either.]

[Becky's at her desk, replaying the video attached to a certain network post once to make sure she'd heard all of that correctly. She isn't involving herself with the post in question, both because she doesn't think her doing so would help anything, and because—

Y'know, I actually invited him to drop in on club stuff after that whole egg-cake thing he did. Seriously wondering if that was a good idea, now.
