Lia likes Ruby a lot and enjoys talking to her. They hit it off basically immediately, and Lia's excited to have such a good friend. She's really excited to spend more time with Ruby!

... Unfortunately, that's going to have to wait, for now. Ruby's left Daybreak's main campus and while Lia's a little sad about it, they've agreed to be pen pals in the meantime!
